Description
The core360 belt products are patent pending, first-of-their-kind training belts that help you move, breathe and perform better. With pressure points placed strategically along the belts and the custom elastic properties of the belts giving you input and feedback, they help you learn to properly breathe and create the core activation and intra-abdominal pressure you need for strong, supported movement. This is done by learning and feeling how to activate your diaphragm muscle in coordination with your abdominal or “core” muscles and pelvic floor whether you are breathing or activating your core.
The core360 belt can be used during sports or during normal daily activities: from weight lifting to yoga, from running to walking, from loading a truck full of boxes to raking leaves or vacuuming your house, from improving your breathing during a sport to focusing on breathing during meditation, from training your diaphragm for acting or singing to improving your breathing to ease anxiety. It can benefit all ages and activity levels.
The original core360 belt – is our all-purpose belt helping you train both breathing and core stabilization. It can be utilized for rehab, training and during performance. The original core360 belt targets your core at the waist level which we believe is the foundational level for training both optimal breathing and core stabilization function. For this reason, we recommend everyone at least start with an original core360 belt either on its own or as part of a package.
The core360 belt IAP+ – Targets your lower abdominal area and sits around your pelvis. Because of the pelvic bones, we designed the IAP+ with larger pressure points than our original, all-purpose belt. In addition, we added an over-strap to increase the amount of pressure placed on your low abdomen to improve the effectiveness of training this difficult to target area. This helps you improve lower intra-abdominal pressure (IAP) and create the appropriate tension in the lower portion of your “core”, or abdominal muscles.
The core360 IAP+ can be utilized on its own to train and work on lower abdominal breathing and core activation. It has also been extremely effective on its own with cycling, “dead bug” exercises and squatting.
The IAP+, when added to the core360 belt original, helps to train and optimize breathing, IAP and overall core activation. When you are able to coordinate your core muscles properly, we see an expansion, all the way around the trunk as well as an expansion in the low abdominal area. Being able to feel expansion and pressure in all 6 points with both belts on, helps you quickly understand how to create optimal breathing and core activation. Once you have this ability, you can continue using only the core360 original belt in your rehab, training or as a performance tool.
The core360 belt products are made with custom elastic made in Los Angeles to our specifications for optimal results. The core360 belt is manufactured in Mexico and assembled in Los Angeles, CA.
Each belt is made of elastic and is black in color, with the core360 logo on the front. The belt fastens via hook and loop (velcro) and is adjustable. The pockets that hold the protrusions or pressure points are black or gray on the side that faces your body and black with a purple stripe on the portion that faces outward. The logo and purple stripe provide additional cuing (visual) in order to help you improve your core activation and/or your breathing pattern.
