DNS Exercise/Sport 2: October 4-5th, 2025. Southlake, Texas
Course Overview
Step into a deeper understanding of the DNS or Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization principles with our DNS Exercise/Sport 2 course. As we move beyond the 3rd month of developmental kinesiology, the introduction of sagittal stabilization into higher developmental positions is pivotal. Our course aims to guide you through these higher-level positions, from undifferentiated positions to differentiated ones incorporating both ipsilateral and contralateral patterns.
This course will expand your understanding of DNS principles, including planned movement of the extremities (phasic & support), joint centration, and sagittal stabilization. Our focus is on training or improving functional global motor patterns in positions such as low oblique sit, high oblique sit, tripod, half kneel, differentiated quadruped, and more. We will also discuss exercise/position selection strategies based on your clients' unique needs or daily demands, be they post-rehab patients, athletes, or individuals seeking optimal strength and movement.
Course Structure
Our advanced course includes in-depth lectures, demonstrations, and practical workshops across two days. Participants will have the opportunity to understand phasic and support functions and learn how the quality of support drives the quality of movement along the chain. Witness the integration of proper respiration and stabilization function with the extremities and how your understanding of these principles can significantly influence the quality of movement in your clients.
